Introduction

Danylo Halytskyi Lviv National Medical University is one of the leading medical universities of the IV level of accreditation, which has a long history and glorious traditions. Reported to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

In November 2019, for his significant contribution to the development of the science of Ukraine, Lviv National Medical University named after Danylo Halytsky received the Web of Science Awards 2019 award and was recognized as the leader of the influence of scientific publications in the field of pharmacology and toxicology.

Lviv Danil Halytsky National Medical University was awarded the Gold Medal and Diploma in the nomination "Innovative Activity of Educational Institutions - a Resource for Ensuring the Quality of Education" and the Diploma Presentation of Educational Participations development of national education.

Danylo Halytskyi Lviv National Medical University traditionally holds the 2nd place in the TOP-10 best medical educational establishments of Ukraine according to the consolidated rating of higher education institutions of Ukraine of the information resource Education.ua.

Today Lviv National Medical University unites 6 faculties, medical college, 78 departments (including 47 clinical, as well as 19 supporting ones for higher medical educational establishments of Ukraine), 14 educational buildings, Dental Medical Center, educational- production pharmacy, training imitation center, botanical garden, CSTL and laboratory of industrial toxicology, research institute of epidemiology and hygiene, research center of antitumor testing, scientific library, 9 dormitories, com Lex student meals, 4 museums, amateur groups, 3 of which have the title of People's, a sports camp "Medic".

The annual contingent of the University is about 20,000 people, of which 6,273 students, 1,164 interns, 11,593 cadets.

Academic scholarships: scholarships of the President of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, and the Mykola Amosov scholarship are awarded to the best students for their high achievements in teaching, scientific and community work.

According to the number of foreign students, the University is one of the leaders among Ukrainian higher educational establishments, which testifies to its high authority in the world market of educational services. Currently, 1,137 foreign nationals from nearly 50 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and America are being trained at the University, of which more than 80 percent are English language learners.

Clinical training of students, interns and students of the Faculty of Postgraduate Education is carried out at 50 clinical departments, which are located at 155 departments of clinical bases in 50 medical and preventive establishments of the city of Lviv, as well as Lutsk, Rivne, Truskavets. All clinical bases have the necessary number of specialists of higher qualification, a sufficient level of material and technical base and the necessary premises and agreements between the higher education institution and the medical-preventive institution in which the forms of relations, rights, duties and responsibilities of each party are established. The University also has its own clinical base - the Dental Center with 1,480 visits per shift.

Honorary doctors of the University are distinguished scientists from leading universities in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Poland, USA and other countries.

Admission Process

There is no entrance exam in India like IELTS/SAT, etc. NEET qualification is a must.

The student must be at least 17 years old as on 31st December of the year in which the admission is being taken.

The candidate must have completed class 12th from a regular and recognised board.

The student must have 50% marks individually in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in class 12th. The student must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as compulsory subjects in 11th and 12th. The board should be a recognised one.

You need to qualify NEET for admission to Vinnitsa National Medical University, Ukraine. NEET is valid for 3 years from 2018 onwards. The student must hold a valid passport.
